Anne Davison was born and brought up in Ludlow, Shropshire. After studying art at Herefordshire College of Art and Design, she spent several years living and travelling extensively overseas which greatly influenced her paintings.
She works in oils, acrylics, watercolour and pastels and, although inspired by the surrounding environment, she creates scenes from her own imagination. Her paintings often combine the representational and abstract aiming to capture the atmosphere and essence of a scene to produce what has been described by some as an ‘ethereal’ quality.
Anne undertakes commissions. Especially popular is her depiction of houses painted from your own photographs.
Anne currently lives by the sea in Hove.
